Returns
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase from Rip101.com you may return it up to
14 days from the date of purchase for an exchange or refund.
Christmas Returns:
We have extended our return dates over the festive season from the usual 14 days, for those of you doing your Christmas shopping. Orders placed in December may be returned up to the 14th January 2012.
We reserve the right to issue a credit note where items are returned late or without a returns number.
Certain items cannot be returned, these are highlighted individually. Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds/replacements on Renner Skateboards unless faulty, as these are dispatched directly by the manufacturer.
How to return your item:
- It's very simple! Just complete and send the returns form at the bottom of this page.
- We will then send you an authorisation number and full instructions by email (you'll receive this Mon - Fri, during office hours only; please also check your Spam folder for our reply).
- This must be clearly displayed on the outside of the package and sent back to us at the returns address we supply you with.
Advice on posting your item:
- For your protection we advise using a recorded delivery service that requires proof of delivery.
- You are responsible for any returned item until its safe receipt by Rip101.com, including items sent to our Freepost address; we cannot accept any responsibility for items sent to us that are subsequently lost in the post.
- Please note we will not accept items returned by hand without prior agreement.
- Please don't ask to return items purchased from other stores!! For legal reasons we cannot accept any item not purchased either from Rip101.com or via our Amazon or Ebay stores, sorry!
Advice on packing your item:
- Returned items must be in original packaging, unused and MUST have all price tags attached.
- You can re-use the mail bag your item arrived in, as long as it's safely packed that's fine.
Refunds:
- Where you are withdrawing from your purchase and there is no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the items only.
- If your order qualified for free postage but you are returning all items, we will deduct a delivery fee of £2.95 from your refund.
- If your item included a free gift for which you now no longer qualify, you must also return this please. We reserve the right to deduct an appropriate fee in compensation for free gifts not returned, so don't be naughty!
Exchanges:
- The conditions apply as above, however providing the value of the replacement item is the same or greater than the returned item we will send the new item(s) and cover the cost of postage (UK only - overseas postage will be charged at actual cost).
- If there is any difference in price between the original item ordered and the replacement item, your card will be debited/credited for that difference. If you want to use a different card just let us know.
- Sale exchanges - due to the very low cost of many sale items we will charge an additional £1.20 posting fee to exchange sale items. This will be charged to the card you used to place your order, unless you tell us otherwise.
Items returned to us either faulty or wrongly delivered:
- We will do our very best to replace the original item as quickly as possible (or provide a refund if preferred) and will cover/refund the cost of postage to return those items to us.
- For items that come in 'Assorted Colours', for example some rashvests, wetsuits, leashes etc: if the colour is not the same as the product in the photograph on the website we do not consider this an error and as such don't refund the postage on these returned items, sorry!
