Thank you for visiting Rip101.com. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using the web site.
Your use of the Rip101.com web site is an agreement between you the user, and us the seller, that you will abide by the terms and conditions below. You may print, copy or view our web site for the sole purpose of ordering from us.

Pricing.
We make every effort to ensure the prices are correct. If for any reason either the price displayed on Rip101.com is wrong or the item is out of stock we will notify you. You will then be given the option of awaiting the arrival of the next shipment (we will advise you of a delivery date), choosing another item or having a full refund. Where an item is less expensive than advertised we will send the item and credit or refund the difference. All prices unless specified differently are in pounds sterling (GBP).
Should a product be reduced after a customer has placed an order at full price, we are unable to reimburse the difference.
Unfortunately we are unable to advise customers in advance of when a product may be reduced in price.

Delivery:
Rip101.com will dispatch your order within 1 working day of it being confirmed. If an item is not in stock, you will be notified as to when it will be available.

Listed below are delivery charges:

UK:
Items up to £60 UK Mainland Parcel Post 5 working day delivery: £2.95
Items up to £60 UK Mainland Parcel Post 48 hour delivery: £5.50
Items over £60 UK Mainland Parcel Post: Free (5 working day delivery)

Items on a 48 hour delivery will require a signature on receipt.

Europe:
£9.95

Rest Of World:
£30.00

Please note: Larger or bulkier items such as surf/snow/mountain boards may incur additional postage charges - particularly if you live outside of the UK. We will obviously inform you of any additional charges before your card is debited and you will have the chance to amend or cancel the order. We would advise contacting us at deliveries@rip101.com before you place your order.

Rip101.com reserve the right to amend orders placed with incorrect delivery options without notice. Rip101.com does not accept responsibility for items being delayed through customs/security checks or adverse weather conditions. Orders sent out on a UK 5 day service may take up to 14 working days for delivery.

Orders Reported As 'Missing' - Replacement Items & Refunds.
Where we have despatched replacement items or issued a refund for an order reported as 'missing', our terms and conditions are as follows:
1. Please be aware that should the missing package(s) subsequently be delivered following despatch of replacement item(s)/refund, you will be liable for their immediate return.
2. On performing a trace, should the Post Office believe the item(s) to have been correctly delivered, or if you do not assist with their investigations where necessary, you will be liable for the cost of any replacement item(s)/the original item.
3. We reserve the right to charge your Card with the cost of any replacement goods/the original item as appropriate (we promise to contact you first before doing this).

Copyright.
All material on this site is the property of Rip101.com and S.O.S Ltd. including the design of the site, logos, visual and audio clips, and are covered by Guernsey and International law on copyright.

Links to other web sites are provided for your interest, these are outside our control and we are not responsible for there content. Please advise us if you find in appropriate material on these sites.

Privacy.
The information you supply us with when placing an order is used for processing that order, we will not pass on or sell any of that information to a third party. Delivery companies will be supplied with information, where the information supplied will only relate to the delivery of goods. We may monitor transactions to make our site more efficient.

Security.
We use 128 bit SSL encryption on our payment page to ensure that your credit card details are safe.

When you go though to the payment page and enter your credit card details, the key or padlock icon in the bottom of your browser will appear locked or highlighted. You will also notice that the address of the web site will change from http://www.rip101.com to https://www.rip101.com (note the 's' after http) signifying that you are on a secure server.

On browsers which allow you to change their appearance (also known as 'theming') the address bar or text may also change colour, or the key/padlock icon may look different or appear in a different place, but something should always appear to indicate you are on a secure page.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
We will never sell, trade or rent your personal details to other companies.

All prices and carriage costs are in United Kingdom Pounds (GBP).
We accept the following credit/debit cards: Visa, Delta, MasterCard, Solo, Maestro, JCB.

Ordering.
Our Contract
(a)  Your Offer.
When you place an order to purchase any products from us we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order (the “Receipt Message”).  Your order represents an offer to us to purchase those products we confirm to you in the Receipt Message.  If there is any discrepancy between the two you must let us know as soon as possible as the Receipt Message is absolute proof of the terms upon which you are offering to purchase the product from us.

(b) Our Acceptance.
Your offer (the terms of which are contained in the Receipt Message) will only be accepted by us when we send you email confirmation to you that we have dispatched the product(s) to you (the “Dispatch Confirmation Message”).  Our acceptance will only occur at the time we send the Dispatch Confirmation Message to you.  Only the products confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation Message form the subject of our contract.  Any products you offer to purchase, as confirmed in a Receipt Message, which are not included in a Dispatch Confirmation Message remain an offer by you to purchase those items which we may subsequently accept, in whole or in part, by sending you a further Dispatch Confirmation Message(s) as detailed in this clause.

(c) Postage.
We will charge you a reasonable charge for postage of your products.  The estimate of this postage charge (as stated in the Receipt Message) is based upon your products being sent to you in either one or multiple packages.  It is your responsibility to alert us before we accept your offer if you think the postage charge is excessive.  If you have not informed us that you consider the estimate of postage charge to be excessive before we accept your offer you shall be deemed to consider it reasonable.  Should your products be sent to you in more than one package the total postage charge may increase.

Returns.
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase from Rip101.com you may return it up to 14 days from the date of purchase.
Returned items must be in original packaging, unused and all price tags attached. Where you are withdrawing from your purchase and there is no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the items only. You will be responsible for the cost of returning items to us using a recorded delivery service which requires a proof of delivery. You are responsible for any returned item until its safe receipt by Rip101.com.

Items being returned for exchange the same conditions apply as above,
however providing the value of the new purchase is the same or greater than the original purchase we will send the new items and cover the cost of postage.
Items returned to us either faulty or wrongly delivered, we will refund the
cost of postage to return those items to us.

Please note: With items that come in ‘Assorted Colours’, for example some rashvests, wetsuits, leashes etc we do not refund the postage on returned items because the colour is not the same as product in the photograph on the website.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds/replacements on Sports Tables, Carveboards or Mountain Boards.

Christmas Returns:
As we hope you will be doing some Christmas shopping with us, we have extended our returns dates over the festive season from the usual 14 days. Orders placed in December may be returned up to the 7th January.

Sales Returns:
Unfortunately we are unable to give refunds on items which have been reduced in a sale. (A sale item is recognisable as it has the 'Previous' & 'Sale' price displayed in the products description). eg: Was £17.99 - Sale Price: £9.00
In the event of a 'sale' item being unsuitable, you can choose a replacement item from the website for an exchange or we can issue you with a credit note. If there is any difference in price between the original item ordered and the replacement item, your card will be debited/credited for that difference.
Please note: If you wish to return an item for exchange and there is a difference in price because the item has been reduced in price (Rip101 would have previously sold the item for the 'Was' price) then the difference will be calculated using the 'Was' price - not the reduced 'Sale' price.

How to return your Items. 
Please fill out the form on the returns page. We will then send you an authorisation number, which must be clearly displayed on the outside of the package and sent back to us at the returns address we supply you with.

We will not accept any items returned for any reason without an authorisation number.

For your protection we advise using a recorded delivery service that requires proof of delivery. Please note we will not accept items returned by hand.

Gift Certificates:
Gift Certificates can be easily redeemed on-line and have no expiration date.
Buying a Gift Certificate:
Upon successfully ordering a Gift Certificate, you will be emailed a printable version of the certificate, along with instructions on how to redeem it.

Redeeming a Gift Certificate:
If the value of your Gift Certificate is the same or greater than the amount due, then you will be taken to the order confirmation page.
If the value of your Gift Certificate is less than the amount due, then you are able to use your credit/debit card to pay the balance.
Please note: Gift Certificates can only be used once and we are unable to give refunds/credit on any amount left unused. We strongly recommend redeeming the full value of your Gift Certificate at the checkout.

General.
Rip101.com and S.O.S Ltd will not be liable, or responsible for any direct or indirect loss, however caused arising from the use of this web site or the information provided on this web site.

The buyer is responsible for making sure that the product purchased is suitable for the required use and that the buyer has sufficient skill to use the item ordered, in the manner that it was designed for and in the conditions that it was designed for. Rip101.com and S.O.S Ltd will not be held responsible for any injury or death caused through misuse or inexperience.

Whilst Rip101.com and S.O.S Ltd has taken reasonable precautions to minimise the risk of viruses and computer corruption, we will not accept liability for any damage caused to software, computers or computer equipment.

In these terms and conditions, where reference is made to, ‘user’, ‘buyer’, ‘you’, ’your’, this will mean the person or persons visiting the site for what ever reason. The term, ‘seller’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’, means Rip101.com and S.O.S ltd.

These terms and conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of Guernsey and any disputes arising are submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Royal Court of Guernsey.
